I’m a 1-year-old, 42-pound adventure buddy looking for my forever family! My foster family says I’m smart, fun, affectionate, and still very much a puppy at heart. I love exploring the world, sniffing every interesting smell I can find, and showing off my impressive ability to locate hidden snacks.
A perfect day for me includes playing with my dog friends, carrying around a giant stuffed toy, searching for treats, and then curling up next to my people for some quality cuddle time. Speaking of cuddles… they’re one of my favorite things! If you rub my chest or gently massage the top of my head, I’ll melt right into you and soak up every second of affection.
I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having canine companions. I do have a confident, alpha-type personality, though. Sometimes I get a little too excited and can be pushy or rough during play. I’m still learning my manners, but I’m a quick learner and do well when my humans provide clear guidance, consistency, and reminders to be “gentle.”
I’m a smart girl who loves having a job to do. My nose is always working, and if there’s a snack hidden anywhere in the house, there’s a good chance I’ll find it! I’m also a bit of a pillow thief, so don’t be surprised if I help myself to your favorite one when you’re not looking.
I’m currently learning kennel training and making good progress. I’m not fully house-trained yet, but when my foster family lets me outside and asks me to go potty, I do a great job. I’m also learning leash manners. Walks are exciting because there are so many things to smell!
Because I’m energetic and athletic, I’ll need a secure yard with a tall fence. I can jump pretty well when I’m excited. A home without young children would be best for me since I still have lots of puppy energy and sometimes forget my size.
I am working on resource guarding around food and high-value treats. My foster family has been helping me learn better habits, and I’ll need a family that is committed to continuing my training. I’m a very smart girl and eager to learn. I’ve also shown interest in cats, but I haven’t had formal introductions yet.

One more thing! My foster family and I are still getting to know each other. I’ve only been with them for a short time, so they’re learning new things about me every day. As I continue to settle in and show more of my personality, they’ll keep updating my bio with all the fun things they discover about me. So far, they think I’m pretty amazing, and I have a feeling there’s even more to my story yet to come!
