Charlie is a two-year-old English Pointer who somehow has the soul of a retired grandpa and the hobbies of a toddler. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, unfazed by cats and even geese, and loves meeting people, especially kids. No aggression, no anxiety, and he handles everyday chaos like a pro.  Charlie is an equal-opportunity snoozer — whether surrounded by a pile of furry roommates or completely alone, he simply does not care. Give him a few minutes to settle into his room and he’ll be snoozing faster than you can say “good boy”.  Currently, Charlie is living his best life rotating between sleeping loose in his room and bunking with dogs that are significantly larger than him.  Once fully acclimated, Charlie is welcome to roam the whole house at night — provided every countertop has been stripped bare. Charlie operates on the firm belief that anything within reach is a gift left specifically for him.

He’s housebroken (will politely notify you like a gentleman), walks nicely on a leash, and is learning his basic commands more each day. He enjoys a good walk but is just as committed to his post-walk nap – strong “off switch,” zero clinginess. He does have the mindset of a puppy when it comes to training and learning new things, so he’ll need some gentle redirection toward his actual toys — otherwise he will absolutely find something that is not a toy and treat it like his most prized possession.

Neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines, basically, he’s the full package.

But really… Charlie is just a goofy, gentle weirdo in the best way. He’s obsessed with his orange tennis ball, treats every stick like it’s the find of the century, and gives off major “old soul trapped in a young dog’s body” energy.
