Franklin embodies your classic Pointer boy – High energy and an absolute goofball.

Franklin is an approximately 1 year old fixed male Pointer from a breeder in Tennessee.  Having never lived indoors until he was brought in to PRO, Franklin is still learning how to be a house dog.  While Franklin has adapted well, he is still a dog who needs lots of activity and play time.

Franklin has recently learned how to sit and we’re working on shake.  He has good recall in the yard, where he loves to run and play with his foster sister.  He also loves to run around the yard and patrol for birds and squirrels.

He’s recently started to snuggle in bed at night, but most of the time he is crated at night and when left in the house unsupervised.  He doesn’t like it for the first few minutes but will settle down eventually.

Franklin will do well in a house with an active family and with another active dog to play with and help him learn the ropes.
