Big is a 9-month-old Lemon English Pointer with a heart as giant as his name. This handsome pup is deaf, but he doesn’t let that slow him down for a second—he experiences the world with boundless enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy!

Total Goofball: Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly silly, Big brings pure warmth and laughter wherever he goes.

 Playtime Enthusiast: He thrives in the company of his foster siblings and loves nothing more than a good game of romp and chase in the yard.

 Stuffie Collector: When he isn’t playing with other dogs, you can usually find him happily carrying around or snuggling his favorite plush toys.

 Gentle Nature: He doesn’t seem to have any prey drive, making him a great candidate for households with cats or other small critters.

Training & Ideal Home Requirements

 Another Dog Preferred: Having another dog in the home is ideal for Big. He loves canine companionship, and a confident resident dog helps him navigate the world and learn the routine.

 Home Dynamics & Kids: Since Big can’t hear someone coming up behind him, he can get a little caught off guard if surprised. Older kids who understand how to approach him thoughtfully would be the best fit, while a home without toddlers or very young children will keep things low-stress for everyone.

 Puppy Behaviors: True to his age, Big is still full of puppy energy and is currently working on his manners. He can be a bit mouthy when he gets excited or wants to play, so he’ll need a family ready to gently redirect that energy.
