Fostering: PRO does not have a facility. In order to save any dogs, we need people who are willing to open their homes to them. If you have a little extra room and a little extra love, please consider fostering.

Transportation: Volunteers are needed to help transport dogs to their foster or adoptive homes. Enjoy some puppy love while helping a dog start a new life! We also need help planning and monitoring transports.

Getting the “Woof” Out: Know of a dog-related event happening in your area? PRO always needs volunteers to spread the word about the work we do. PRO has brochures and other materials available to help publicize our work.

PRO also has need for volunteers to perform a variety of other tasks that help keep a rescue running: screening potential adopters and foster homes, following up with adopters to see how the dogs are doing, performing vet and reference checks, generating fundraising ideas, writing newsletter articles and all the other little things that add up to saving dogs. We are a 100% volunteer organization and we are grateful for all of our volunteers who enable us to do the work we do saving lives. Even if you can only spare a few minutes, we’d love to have you come join our team.
