Meet Minnie, a sweet, gentle girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles
Minnie is a 49-pound sweetheart with a soft, gentle personality and a serious love for affection. She loves kisses on her muzzle and will happily lean her head and her whole body into you while you love on her. She thrives on encouragement and absolutely knows when she’s being told what a good girl she is.
Minnie is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She loves her daily walks and is always ready to head out, and then she’s happy spending the rest of the day curled up beside you on the couch or snoozing on the bed. She’s not demanding or constantly looking for attention, and she’s perfectly content to relax while you do your own thing.
She loves a good stick, bone, or Benebone to chew on, and toys become even more fun when another dog wants to play too. Minnie really enjoys having canine friends and would love a doggy sibling who will romp around with her before settling down for a good cuddle session. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been happy to sleep and snuggle with them.
Minnie is also great with cats and has no problem sharing her space with them. Her prey drive is low, and she seems much more interested in cuddling than chasing little furry creatures.
She is completely housetrained with her daily Proin, which keeps her leaky bladder fully controlled. She is also crate-trained and is very comfortable and happy in her crate.
Minnie walks well on leash, with only an occasional little pull when something gets her excited. Her recall has been excellent so far, even coming when called from about 50 feet away at the river. She has also done wonderfully with a respectful two-year-old.
Minnie really is just an easy girl to love. She doesn’t need a constant supply of entertainment or attention. She wants a person to trust, a comfy place to nap, some walks and sunshine, a good chew, and someone who will remind her often that she is, in fact, a very good girl.
