Hello future furever family! My name is Boone, and I am about 7 1/2 years young. Don’t let my frosty face fool you!

I am one of the happiest guys you’ll ever meet. My foster family says my tail wags my whole body, and I always greet them like that with a big smile.

I love playing with toys of all kinds, and I definitely love playing with other dogs! Cats don’t bother me at all. There are 2 in my foster home, and I completely ignore them (my foster brother told me he tried it and it’s totally not worth it!).

I have never met a stranger and love getting lots of pets. When my foster family has big gatherings, I like to make sure everyone attending gets a chance to love on me. I make the rounds! Another of my favorite things is chewing on chew sticks, yak chews, bully strips, rawhides, etc. But don’t worry, I have never chewed on anything I am not supposed to!

Car rides are another of my favorite things. I jump right up into the vehicle, even the giant truck that my foster family pulls their camper with. Did I tell you I love to camp? Walks around the campground and on trails make me happy. And if you put the window down some for me, I am known to stick my head out of it, and my foster Mom swears I am saying, “Wheeeeeee!

One thing I am not a fan of is thunder (regular rain doesn’t bother me), but my foster family has it under control. They have figured out how to help me, and now I barely notice them. During storm season, they check the weather radar. They call it the Boonar, whatever that means.
